Trauma Therapist in Wellesley
Online throughout Massachusetts
Since beginning my clinical training in 2015, I have been able to care for individuals in community, hospital and private practice settings who have been impacted by childhood trauma, sexual exploitation, trafficking, racial trauma, immigration-related trauma among asylum seekers, medical trauma, depression, anxiety, panic and phobias.
Over the years I’ve come to realize how few resources are available for those experiencing higher levels of dissociation after chronic exposure to trauma. Because of this unmet need, I have since committed to ongoing training, education and consultation that allows me to specialize in this area and offer accessible care for those with complex trauma and higher levels of dissociation.
Choosing who to trust with your mental health care is a big decision! I think it’s important for you to know what your therapist stands for in order to determine for yourself if the relationship can feel safe for you. Overall, my stance as a clinician is rooted in social justice, feminist, intersectional and decolonized frameworks. I am committed to building affirming, non-judgmental and culturally responsive relationships with all of my clients. It’s particularly important to me to commit to the on-going learning and unlearning needed to offer safe and effective care for those within BIPOC, Immigrant and LGBTQIA+ communities.
