When I can afford to, I offer reduced rate therapy for those who are experiencing financial hardship. If you believe you may be eligible for a reduced therapy rate, please email to make your request.
Each request will be handled individually and re-evaluated every 3 months.

No. In 2025 I decided to no longer contract with insurance companies for several reasons including:
By setting my own standard rate outside of insurance contracts, I am better able to afford sliding scale fees for those in financial need. This community care model gives my practice the opportunity to offer reduced fee therapy to those who otherwise wouldn’t receive quality care.
This choice allows us the freedom to work outside of diagnostic and cpt codes, which insurance companies use to limit duration, frequency and type of therapy you receive. I believe the client and therapist are the most qualified to determine what is most appropriate in real time.
Insurance companies require a diagnostic label as “proof” of needing therapy. It’s important to me to avoid adding labels and codes to your medical record just for the purpose of insurance coverage.
Insurance companies are legally able to access treatment documents, progress notes, and diagnostic information at any time- which may compromise your confidentiality.
Unfortunately, health insurance companies are notoriously inconsistent when paying out their providers. With frequent claim denials and unexplained month-long delays, relying on health insurance companies has become unsustainable for my practice.
Insurance companies simply do not pay fair rates to their contracted providers. So, while insurance companies get paid more each year by raising premiums, copays and deductibles… therapists do not receive any increase in pay. This can create a toxic working model for therapists, requiring them to treat a very high number of clients per week to earn a livable wage. This ultimately increases burn out for therapists and impacts the quality of care clients receive.

Schedule a single day extended therapy session lasting 2-3 hours. Priced at $220 per hour.
Allow your brain adequate, focused, supported, and uninterrupted time to naturally reprocess traumatic memories more fully and effectively than weekly therapy allows.
Dive deeply into one topic or work to make sense of a long history of traumatic memories that have been keeping you stuck in survival mode or in a dissociative state
Enjoy as many snack, outdoor movement, and grounding breaks as needed to help you feel safe and in control throughout

EMDR Intensives are right for you if you are ready to allow your brain what it needs to naturally and effectively process and offload the mental, physical and emotional distress it’s been holding after trauma.
EMDR Intensives are helpful for those who are:
unable to meet weekly due to scheduling limitations
wanting to stay working with their current therapist for talk therapy while also having a dedicated space to dive deeply into trauma processing
looking to take advantage of larger chunks of time off from school or work
need more support than weekly therapy can offer, but are not interested in IOP or PHP programs. Appropriate level of care is determined on a case by case basis with clinician support.

If you have Out of Network Benefits, you’ll likely be reimbursed 50 - 80% of each session fee after reaching your Out of Network deductible. I would provide you with a Superbill (receipt), which you can submit directly to your insurer.

Yes! I have committed to ongoing education, advanced training, and frequent consultation that allow me to specialize in this area.
I have experience caring for individuals impacted by PTSD, CPTSD, DPDR, FND, OSDD and DID.
My training informed by Structural Dissociation Theory, Ego States, and EMDR allows me to:
Facilitate DES-II and MID-60 assessments to measure presence of dissociation
Normalize, validate and educate clients on presence of dissociation, parts, and DID systems
Offer somatic tools for grounding, internal safety and improved mind-body connection
Facilitate Ego State Maneuvers including Spotlighting and the Dissociative Table Technique as an extended Phase 2 of EMDR to support preparation for reprocessing
Help clients safely turn inward to identify parts that may need deeper understanding and resolution after trauma so they can heal deeply and move towards a more integrated self as a whole

While it is helpful to recognize and name the challenges we face, it does not serve us to remain identified with them. Our work together is focused on detaching from diagnostic labels and understanding that you are not defined by your past. More importantly, you are so much more than a description in the DSM-5.

I am licensed to provide therapy in Massachusetts.
-
Both! I have an office in Linden Square of Wellesley Massachusetts where I see the majority of my clients. I also see clients virtually throughout MA & CT.
-
The research suggests virtual EMDR is equally as effective in treating trauma compared to in-person EMDR. My experience reflects this as well.

I began my graduate and clinical training in 2015. I began practicing as a psychotherapist in 2019. You can learn more about my education, training, and professional experience here.

We will spend 15- 20 minutes getting to know each other. I will ask you to share a bit about what has you seeking therapy now. I’ll also ask you to share what you know helps or doesn’t help based on your past experiences of therapy or psychiatry. I would be happy to answer any questions you have about me or Shared Stories Counseling. Then we can discuss logistics like scheduling and billing.
