“Healing happens in community, nature, culture & the dismantling of oppressive systems.”

Hi, I’m Victoria. My hope is to support you while you identify your goals, deepen your understanding of your values, and work to take your power back from problems that try to get in your way through EMDR, Somatic and Narrative Therapies.

With over a decade of clinical experience, I have developed a great sense of gratitude for my ability to do this work. After receiving my MSW and LICSW, I have been able to care for individuals, couples and families in community, hospital and private practice settings who have been affected by childhood trauma, sexual abuse, exploitation, racial trauma, immigration-related trauma among asylum seekers, depression, anxiety, panic, phobias, attachment-based trauma and relationship issues.

I believe our abilities to stay emotionally regulated are dependent on how safe we feel… and it’s okay to not stay calm in toxic or oppressive situations.

In our conversations, we'll work to understand how your mental health, relationships and daily life are impacted by the larger systems you find yourself in. Overall, my stance as a clinician is rooted in social justice, feminist, intersectional and decolonized frameworks. I am committed to building affirming, non-judgmental and culturally responsive relationships with all of my clients. It’s particularly important to me to commit to the on-going learning and unlearning needed to offer safe and effective care for those within LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities.

What else?

Outside of work I’m usually training my two pups, cheering on the Celtics, reading, quilting, attending live comedy shows, exploring local beaches, and trying out new vegan recipes.

I look forward to learning about you as well!
