I’m so glad you’re here…

Welcome and thank you for your interest in beginning therapy together. My name is Victoria Kachinski, psychotherapist and owner of Shared Stories Counseling, LLC located in Wellesley MA. My hope is to support you while you identify your goals, deepen your understanding of your values, and work to take your power back from problems that try to get in your way.

With over seven years of experience providing trauma-informed care to adults in Boston & the Metro-West area, I have developed a great sense of gratitude for my ability to do this work. After receiving my MSW and LICSW, I have been able to care for individuals in community, hospital and private practice settings who have been affected by stressors including single event or complex trauma, chronic illness, cancer, infertility, disrupted attachment, and relationship issues.

In our conversations, we'll work to understand how your mental health, relationships and daily life are impacted by the larger systems you find yourself in. My eclectic approach is informed by social justice, feminist, decolonized and intersectional frameworks. While staying close to my own values of curiosity, respect and empathy, I am committed to building affirming, non-judgmental and culturally responsive relationships with all of my clients.

I do not take the privilege to witness your pain, courage, breakthroughs and healing for granted. I look forward to working together to create a safe space where you can show up as yourself fully and share your story on your own terms.
